When I wake up in the morning, I need at least an hour that involves a few cups of coffee before I feel civilized enough to even talk to someone else. People thought I was joking when I would say that, but it was my sad reality for years. In fact, it was not until I saw a chiropractor in Chicago because of a shoulder injury in a car accident that I discovered that it had a lot more to do with the sleep I was getting at night rather than the coffee I was drinking in the morning.
The chiropractor that I saw treated my shoulder injury just fine, but it was what he did for my sleep issues that really amazed me. Continue reading
